Where is valerica after killing harkon

Ok so after you've killed Harkon where can you find Valerica in the Soul Cairn, because I went back to where you first met her and I can't find her. All you need to do is walk up to the entrance of the castle and she'll be outside using the Alchemy lab, talk to her after killing Harkon and the last chat option will be to tell her he died.

She than will gather her things and appear at the castle. She's on the left yes for anyone who reads this now for help. Outside the tall door to the boneyard, to the left, over the pile of bones into an opening of the castle, you'll see her in her alchemy area.

To enter again, you must become a Vampire Lord. If you tell her that her vampirism makes you uncomfortable, she will criticize you for being self-centered and refuse to ever discuss the cure again. After the Dragonborn kills Harkon, it is possible to travel back to the Soul Cairn and tell her Harkon is dead.

After Valerica returns to the castle, she will plant new herbs in the garden in the courtyard, provided Garan Marethi is asked to repair the corridor that leads there.

Even after you finish the Dawnguard main questline, Serana remains an essential character and can never be killed. I haven't really checked out in the Soul Cairn- it's massive, and I figured that she wouldn't just randomly spawn somewhere out there after you first encounter her. Anybody know where she is, or should be?

Aeidir Archmage and Arch Curate. I also have a similar question; I sided with the dawnguard and wondered where she goes, as I cannot seem to find her. I would assume that you should at least be able to talk to her about Harkon's defeat and possibly even convince her to return to Tamriel.
